During our project research, our primary objective was to develop an interactive installation. While pondering a spooky and eerie scenario, we also paid a visit to a nearby Halloween store to gather materials and inspiration. As we surveyed the various masks on display, we came to a striking realization: the masks that resembled humans were often more unsettling than their elaborately designed non-human counterparts.
Consider this: what's more terrifying, a human lurking beneath your bed or a ghost? With this perspective in mind, we resolved to create a spooky photo area where you can have your picture taken with a stranger in a cloak. As you sit next to this stranger, their head will eerily rotate to fixate on you, followed by a spine-chilling scream.
